Although it is written as rayon (TAKEFU), rayon is a regenerated fiber made from plants such as wood and bamboo, and is different from synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon made from petroleum.
Making of TAKEFU
During the pulping process, we have established a thorough recycling technology when alkaline agents are used to extract cellulose fibers. Furthermore, we have the environment in mind when using the special solvent in the spinning process to make the cellulose part of bamboo pulp into fibers. Fibers made in this way are called regenerated cellulose fibers.

TAKEFU®︎ was registered as a trademark in 2008 as rayon made from bamboo.
